"It's opener there
in the wide open air.
Out there things can happen
and frequently do
to people as brainy
and footsy as you."
-- Dr. Seuss from Oh, the Places You'll Go!
I love reading that book to my sons, and especially, hearing my oldest son read it now too! But, the first line that I shared in this, "It's opener there in the wide open air." Wow, how perfectly that describes what feeds my soul the most, especially in Summer!
Adventure is everything to me. And, even when I'm not able to go explore festivals, forests, or far off beaches, adventure seems to find me. And lately, I've been enjoying the adventure of my massage and yoga teaching professional practices.
Currently I am offering massage at three very awesome, yet different settings. I'm still at Sage Yoga & Wellness, and this fall will be my 5th year there! I am also offering massage to St Luke's Hospital staff and their spouses. And lastly, every other Friday afternoon and evening I am providing Couple's Massage sessions at the Hot Springs Resort in Idaho City called The Springs. The photo below is a winter scene from the front door of the Massage Yurt.
I love having a profession that I feel gifted doing, allows me to serve, harness my creative power of expression as well as my mind, and now scratches my itch for clean mountain air! (As long as it's not fire-season right?)
I would love to have you come experience massage either at Sage, or to book a mini-retreat for you and a friend when I'm at The Springs! Also, if you or your spouse happen to work for St. Luke's be in touch! I can do on-site chair massage or do table sessions at the Boise Hospital, and it's offered at a great price that can be payroll deducted.
Now, lets talk yoga! I would love to have you in any of my current yoga classes! I am teaching for Axiom gyms every Monday night at 5:45 at the Fairview location, and every Saturday morning at 9 at the Parkcenter location. Also, for you or your pregnant friends or family, I am teaching prenatal yoga every other Saturday at Yoga Tree of Boise, 12-1pm. Lastly, I am also teaching a corporate yoga class for St Lukes too! If you'd like to bring yoga to your office, whether at St Luke's or elsewhere, I'd love to look at that opportunity as well! Just shoot me a message. I may even offer a donation based class in a backyard or park soon, so if that tickles your fancy let me know and I'll keep you in the loop.
Recently I really enjoyed teaching a chakra meditation at JUMP! with and for a regular reiki massage client. :)
There is more adventure a-brewin' behind the scenes too that I can't wait to share with you at some point!
Thank you for the opportunities that you all have provided for me! I so appreciate being able to share my skills with you, and especially that they assist your journey in life find more enjoyment, health, and all else!
